What Black Out offers fans of horror and Halloween games?

Load the Black Out slot and enter a haunted Halloween setting, as your flashlight reveals the horror that awaits you. The 5x5 grid’s backdrop is a dilapidated house with a staircase leading to a candle-lit chandelier. Keys are collected on a ring that forms to the left of the grid.

Symbols include a lantern, an eye, a human skull, a goat skull, and ritualistic carved-out symbols. A red glow accentuates the grey HD graphics, and the soundtrack sets the tone with terrifying shrills as sound effects.

How do the bonus features work in Black Out?

Black Out by Donut Gaming has various game mechanics and thrilling features that can trigger in the base game.

Special Symbols

The W is the Wild that substitutes for all regular symbols. A Cutter can split Wilds into 4 occurrences.

The red glowing Bonus is the Scatter and is needed to unlock Regular Bonus and Super Bonus rounds. The green glowing Bonus is the Secret Scatter and unlocks the Cheatcode Bonus.

Global Multiplier

Starting at a displayed 0x, the global multiplier rises by +2 on each win and can reach up to 16,384x. A connecting Glow adds to the global multiplier, and winning Glows clear regular symbols, create more spaces, and collect a key.

Cascading Reels

One spin can land multiple wins in this Bonus buy slot, as cascading reels allow new symbols to fall from above. This will continue until no new wins occur.

Cutter

When a Guillotine symbol lands, the Cutter Feature triggers, doubling the row it landed on up to 4. Split symbols also keep their occurrence through tumbles that follow.

Door

The Door symbol consumes a collected key and transforms up to 10 regular symbols into Wilds. Remaining keys continue into the free spins rounds, and the Door cannot turn into Wild symbols.

Regular Bonus

Land 3 Scatters to trigger 8 free spins, retaining the global multiplier and keys. Landing 3 or 4 scatters during the round awards 3 respins.

Super Bonus

4 Scatters trigger 10 free spins, retaining the entry spin’s multiplier and keys. You can also trigger 3 respins by landing 3 or more scatters during the bonus round.

Cheatcode Bonus

You need 3 Secret Scatters to unlock 10 free spins on the base game’s final spin. The existing multiplier and keys remain, and more symbols land already split. Landing 3 Secret Scatters triggers 3 respins.

Select the red button to open the Black Out bonus buy menu. Each bonus buy option carries an additional cost and adjusted volatility. Always use these features wisely and follow Stake Smart responsible gambling guidelines.
